Dear Colleague,

This is my privilege and honor to be able to serve as the Secretary General of Bangladesh Society of Diabetes Practitioners (BSDP). In Bangladesh we don’t have enough specialist in the field of diabetes. Moreover, a finely orchestrated evidence-based diabetes practice is lacking. As a consequence, General practitioners and specialists from different modalities need to take care of large number of diabetic patients as well as their complications. Bangladesh Society of Diabetes Practitioners (BSDP) originated with the dream to bring Diabetes practitioners of Bangladesh under one umbrella and to enrich their professional standard and service towards diabetes patients and to create awareness among patients regarding diabetes prevention and management. I consider it my solemn duty to relentlessly try for implementation of the aims and objectives of BSDP.
